All KDN services that are transmitted via its submarine fiber capacity are grouped under its International Services. KDN has heavily invested in SEACOM and TEAMS submarine fiber cables and partnered with global telcos to provide its customers with dedicated, fast, reliable and fully redundant capacity around the globe. KDN’s international services include IPL, Global MPLS VPN, IP Transit and Internet services.
IPL (International Private Line)

IPL also known as International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC) is an end-to-end service that provides customers with dedicated, pure, layer two international data bandwidth for various types of real-time and mission-critical applications including text and data, voice, graphics and video.

Internet services

The Internet is a global system of interconnected computer networks. Our Internet service therefore allows one direct access to the Internet, using a cabled or wireless data transmission technology, to send and receive all kinds of information such as text, graphics, videos, voice, computer programs etc.

This is a dedicated service offered to various Telcos, Business Corporates, Financial Institutions, NGOs, multinationals, learning institutions as well as government institutions who want direct access to the Internet for their day-to-day business operations.

This is a service delivered efficiently, effectively and competitively and can be used for Internet access, business data exchange, video conferencing, and any other form of telecommunication. This service can be used by organizations that require a direct connection from one point to another to communicate between offices that are geographically dispersed throughout the world.

Global MPLS VPN

This service provides reliable and secure access to your network from anywhere in the world. This technology-independent solution enables you to handle a multitude of tasks ranging from mission-critical Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Quality Videoconferencing, Voice-over-IP (VoIP) to convenient email and web-based applications while addressing traditional network problems relating to speed, scalability, Quality of Service (QoS) management and traffic engineering. Independent of other VPNs, your network enjoys a level of security equivalent to that provided by frame relay and ATM.
IP Transit

IP Transit Service offers international carriers and ISPs upstream Internet connectivity to all worldwide domains connected in Europe, U.S. and the rest of the world.

Leveraging KDNS’s direct connectivity into TEAMS and SEACOM’s global network and partnering with strategic global operators, KDN can provide transit to POP’s in Europe (London), Asia (Singapore) and South Africa (Johannesburg) to provide fast, secure, reliable internet services with low latency and a minimum number of hops.

This service is mostly used by Internet Service Providers or Telcos providing internet services as it enables them to provide Internet connectivity to their customers from their network.
